How to use revenue data for analysis?
Revenue is the money produced by normal business operations. As growing revenue can drive up stock prices and vice versa, traders use this metric to gauge a company's profitability and decide whether to invest in it. Usually, revenue is followed in the Earnings Calendar, but we’ve created a separate table with all the necessary revenue data to help you focus your analysis on this metric only.
All reports above are sorted chronologically, and the interface is easy to read. First, you’ll see the report’s time and the company's name, followed by estimated revenue, actual revenue, surprise, and market capitalization. If needed, you can sort the data by any of these revenue metrics.
On the upper panel, you can choose the time period, country, and timezone to narrow the search. Keep track of US companies' revenue or reports of all available countries to find new opportunities for your strategies.
Once you’ve set all the filters, you can analyze the revenue of companies crucial for your trading plan. See their estimates and actual values, evaluate how effective they are in fulfilling prognosis, check if the revenue corresponds to their market cap, and decide if investing in them will bring you the expected profit.
You can follow companies' revenue in more detail on corresponding symbol pages. Track NVIDIA revenue, Meta’s revenue, and more.
