RBNZ (Reserve Bank of New Zealand) gave the results of its monetary policy meeting, by raising its interest rate by 0.5% to 2%. With this hawkish policy, the RBNZ became one of the banks that was very aggressive in raising interest rates, leaving other central banks such as The FED and the RBA. Going forward, the RBNZ divulges its plans that larger and earlier rate hikes will reduce high inflation rates.
