Steem is a currency that can fluctuate wildly. From a TA perspective its been fairly predictable since the large price swing we saw previously.
Heres how to play it. If you are in the money and waiting - keep waiting - until about 0.00023000 - it may dip a bit lower than this but this is a could place to setup tent.
The first target sale could take place at 0.0002600 or possibly higher.

Volume is taking a dip again - looks like price might hit the target buy sooner rather than later. There may be small short plays along the way - but the safe position is to wait until 0.00023000 which in my opinion represents an excellent entry point.Note
BTC hit about 7k and it seems to have triggered a number of stops temporarily inflating the price. With BTC expected to continue in a bearish pattern - Steem should break out of this temporary uptrend and will continue to drop to at least 0.0023000 - Unless it breaks through the top line of the down-channel the buy is still in play. Will update with changes - until then- hold tight!Note

Steem is still in the downtrend channel.. BTC appears to be moving lower in the medium term with some spikes in the short term. Both should hit there targets after weekend trading ends.
