In the Asian session, the gold price (XAU/USD) fell to about $1,837.90 after providing a negative break of the consolidation built in a limited range of around $1,844.00. The precious metal has been provided amid rising geopolitical tensions between the United States and China, as well as North Korean missile launches within Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
