Bullish patterns often signal that price is likely to move upward.
1.1 Bull Flag
* What it looks like: A sharp upward move followed by a small downward-sloping rectangle (the flag).
* Meaning: After a strong rally, the price consolidates briefly before continuing higher.
* Key insight: A breakout above the flag typically signals a continuation of the trend.
1.2 Pennant (Bullish)
* What it looks like: A strong upward move followed by a small symmetrical triangle.
* Meaning: Similar to the bull flag, but the consolidation takes a triangular form.
* Key insight: Once price breaks above the pennant, the uptrend often resumes.
1.3 Cup & Handle
* What it looks like: A “U”-shaped curve (the cup) followed by a small downward drift (the handle).
* Meaning: This pattern suggests a period of accumulation before price breaks higher.
* Key insight: A breakout above the handle signals the beginning of a new bullish leg.
1.4 Inverse Head & Shoulders
* What it looks like: Three low points, with the middle low being the deepest.
* Meaning: This reversal pattern appears after a downtrend and signals a potential change to an uptrend.
* Key insight: A breakout above the “neckline” confirms the reversal.
---
2. Indecisive Chart Patterns
These patterns show market hesitation, where neither bulls nor bears are clearly in control.
2.1 Consolidation Channel
* What it looks like: Price moves within a horizontal channel.
* Meaning: Market is moving sideways with no strong trend.
* Key insight: A breakout in either direction often leads to a significant move.
2.2 Symmetrical Triangle
* What it looks like: Two converging trend lines forming a triangle.
* Meaning: This is a neutral pattern that can break out in either direction.
* Key insight: Traders wait for a breakout before taking a position.
---
3. Bearish Chart Patterns
Bearish patterns signal a high probability of downward price movement.
3.1 Bear Flag
* What it looks like: A sharp decline followed by a small upward-sloping rectangle.
* Meaning: After a strong drop, price consolidates before continuing lower.
* Key insight: A breakout below the flag suggests a continuation of the downtrend.
3.2 Pennant (Bearish)
* What it looks like: A sharp downward move followed by a small symmetrical triangle.
* Meaning: Similar to the bear flag, but the consolidation takes a triangular form.
* Key insight: A breakout downward typically resumes the bearish trend.
3.3 Inverse Cup & Handle
* What it looks like: An upside-down cup with a small upward drift forming the handle.
* Meaning: Indicates weakness after an uptrend, often followed by a drop.
* Key insight: A break below the handle usually signals a strong bearish move.
3.4 Head & Shoulders
* What it looks like: Three peaks, with the middle one being the highest.
* Meaning: A classic reversal pattern that indicates a potential shift from an uptrend to a downtrend.
* Key insight: A break below the “neckline” confirms the bearish reversal.
---
How to Use These Patterns
* Combine pattern recognition with support/resistance, volume, and indicators for stronger confirmation.
* Always wait for breakouts and avoid acting too early.
* Manage risk with stop-loss orders.

USDCHFHello Traders! 👋
What are your thoughts on USDCHF?
USD/CHF has broken above its descending trendline and cleared a resistance zone, signaling a potential trend reversal and growing bullish momentum.
After some minor consolidation and a pullback to the breakout zone, we expect the pair to continue its rally toward the next identified targets.
The broken resistance now acts as new support, and as long as price remains above this area, the bullish outlook remains valid.

BTCUSDTHello Traders! 👋
What are your thoughts on BITCOIN?
After a strong rally, BTC is currently pulling back from the 124K resistance area, heading toward a major confluence support zone between 108,000– 110,000, which aligns with:
✅ Previous breakout zone
✅ 0.5–0.618 Fibonacci retracement
✅ Lower bound of the ascending channel
This level is expected to attract buyers and act as a base for a new bullish leg.
Scenario Ahead (Main Bias):
1. Price dips into the 108–110K support
2. Bullish reversal from the zone (watch for strong reaction candles or bullish divergence)
3. Target 1: 124K (retest resistance)
4. Target 2: 135K–140K (upper channel boundary upon breakout)
BTC remains in a healthy bullish structure. Current pullback is considered constructive, and the 107–110K zone offers a high-probability long setup. Watch for bullish signals before entering.
A confirmed daily close below 107K would invalidate this bullish structure and expose BTC to deeper correction levels.
What’s your take on this setup? Do you expect a bounce from support or a deeper correction? Share your thoughts below 👇

XAU/USD | Next Key Zone: Watch for Rejection at $3334! (READ)By analyzing the gold chart on the 4-hour timeframe, we can see that, just as expected, the price dropped from $3310 to $3288 in the first leg, where it hit a demand zone and bounced up to $3305, delivering a 170-pip rally. The main bearish move from $3333 to $3288 yielded 450 pips, bringing the total return on this analysis to over 620 pips!
In the second phase, gold dropped sharply again to $3268, and once more found demand, currently trading around $3307. If the price holds above $3294, we could expect further upside toward the $3322–$3334 zone. Once gold reaches this area, a strong bearish rejection is likely, with a potential return of 250 to 400 pips.
All key supply and demand levels are marked on the chart — make sure to monitor them closely and study the chart in detail. Hope you’ve made the most of this powerful analysis!

SHIB/USDT: Shiba Inu Setting Up for a Bullish Reversal?Shiba Inu (SHIB) is currently trading around $0.00001208, showing signs of stabilizing near a key support zone after a recent pullback. The market appears to be forming a rounded double bottom pattern, which could evolve into a strong W-shaped bullish reversal if confirmed with volume and breakout above short-term resistance (~$0.0000135).
This level could be pivotal for long-term accumulation.
What to Watch
*Key Support Zone: $0.00001200 - price is holding this level firmly.
*Short-Term Resistance: $0.0000135 - a breakout could confirm bullish continuation.
*Indicators: RSI is cooling off after a high, which could provide momentum for a new leg up.
SHIB may be quietly setting the stage for a powerful recovery. This support level looks like a gift for those with patience and vision. DCA smartly, monitor dips, and don’t panic, because when this pattern breaks out, you’ll wish you had loaded up earlier.
This isn't about hype...it’s about positioning. Stay disciplined. Stick to your plan. SHIB might just surprise everyone again.
USDJPY - Now or Never!Hello TradingView Family / Fellow Traders. This is Richard, also known as theSignalyst.
📈USDJPY has been overall bullish trading within the rising channel marked in blue and it is currently retesting the upper bound of the channel acting as an over-bought zone.
Moreover, the green zone is a strong weekly resistance.
📚 As per my trading style:
As #USDJPY is around the red circle zone, I will be looking for bearish reversal setups (like a double top pattern, trendline break , and so on...)

Gold on the edge: Will 3,270 break as Fed pressure builds?Hello traders, what’s your view on XAUUSD?
Yesterday, gold remained under pressure as a series of fresh U.S. economic data reinforced expectations that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates higher for longer. As a result, U.S. Treasury yields surged, the dollar strengthened, and gold came under renewed selling pressure. Currently, XAUUSD is trading around 3,288 USD, down 0.04% on the day.
From a technical standpoint, gold is clearly trading within a well-defined downward-sloping channel, confirming the dominance of bearish momentum. Moreover, both the EMA34 and EMA89 are acting as dynamic resistance levels, repeatedly rejecting any short-term recovery attempts—highlighting the strength of the current downtrend.
If a pullback occurs before the next leg lower, the confluence of resistance and the EMA zone will be crucial to watch. It could offer ideal conditions for potential short setups in line with the trend.
Looking ahead, the next key support lies at 3,270 USD. A break below this level could open the door for a deeper move toward the 32XX area.
What do you think? Will gold continue to drop further?
Good luck and trade safe!
ETH BREAKOUT IMMINENT?Ethereum is currently trading around $3,726, holding just above key support levels, including the 50-day SMA and the psychological $3,700 zone. Despite a minor pullback, ETH continues to show signs of bullish strength and remains in a healthy uptrend.
Momentum indicators like RSI and volume show signs of recovery, and ETH is forming a bullish continuation pattern near resistance. If Ethereum can break above the $3,820–$3,850 zone, we are likely to see a quick push toward higher levels.
Ethereum is showing solid strength after consolidating above $3,700. The breakout attempt toward $3,850 will be critical. If bulls push through this level with volume confirmation, a move toward $3,900 and then $4000 becomes highly probable.
The market structure is constructive, and the presence of ETF-driven institutional demand adds further bullish pressure. While short-term volatility may create minor pullbacks, the medium-term setup favors upward continuation.
USD/CAD Breaks Triangle: Bullish Target in SightHello guys!
USD/CAD has broken out of a clear triangle formation, signaling strong bullish momentum. The breakout above the top line of the triangle, supported by earlier bullish divergence, confirms that buyers are now in control.
Triangle breakout confirmed
Strong bullish impulse post-breakout
Retest of the broken trendline expected
Target: 1.38791
A clean retest of the breakout level could provide another entry opportunity before price reaches the target zone highlighted in blue.
Gold can reach resistance area and then continue to fallHello traders, I want share with you my opinion about Gold. Over an extended period, the price action of Gold has been contained within a large descending triangle, a pattern characterized by a series of lower highs testing a descending resistance line and a relatively flat support base. The major seller zone around the 3415 resistance level has consistently capped upward rebounds, establishing a clear downward pressure on the asset. The most critical recent development has been a decisive breakdown, where the price broke below a key ascending trend line and, more importantly, below the horizontal support at 3310. This structural break has shifted the immediate market dynamics, turning the former support area of 3310 - 3320 into a new ceiling of resistance. The primary working hypothesis is a short scenario based on the principle of a breakdown and retest. It is anticipated that the price will attempt a corrective rally back towards this new resistance area around 3310. A failure to reclaim this level, confirmed by a strong rejection, would validate the breakdown and signal the continuation of the larger downward trend. Therefore, the tp for this next bearish leg is logically placed at the 3240 level. This target represents a significant area of potential support and a measured objective following the resolution of the recent consolidation. GOLD BUYGold maintains its daily gains around $3,300
After retreating markedly on Wednesday, Gold rebounds moderately and remains positive at about $3,300 per troy ounce on Thursday. The precious metal’s rebound comes in response to the daily retracement in US yields across the curve and the so far irresolute price action in the Greenback
The US Federal Reserve kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged for the fifth consecutive meeting, in a range of 4.25% to 4.5%, despite intense pressure from US President Donald Trump and his allies to lower borrowing costs. The decision, however, met opposition from Fed Governors Michelle Bowman and Christopher Waller. This was the first time since 1993 that two governors had dissented on a rate decision.
In the accompanying monetary policy statement, the committee had a more optimistic view and noted that the economy continued to expand at a solid pace. Adding to this, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said during the post-meeting press conference that the central bank had made no decisions about whether to cut rates in September. This comes on top of the upbeat US macro data, and lifted the US Dollar to a two-month high.
Automatic Data Processing reported that private payrolls in the US rose by 104,000 jobs in July, following a revised 23,000 fall recorded in the previous month. Adding to this, the Advance US Gross Domestic Product (GDP) report published by the US Commerce Department showed that the economy expanded at a 3.0% annualized pace during the second quarter after contracting by 0.5% in the previous quarter

XAU/USD GOLD NFP DIRECTIONThis chart analysis is for XAU/USD (Gold vs. U.S. Dollar) on the 4-hour timeframe. The focus is on a bearish market structure, highlighting potential Price of Interest (POI) zones for a short (sell) setup.
Key Elements:
Market Structure: Clear downtrend with lower highs and lower lows.
POIs Identified:
Optional POI: An initial supply zone where price might react.
Extreme POI: A more significant supply zone marked for a stronger potential reversal.
Labels & Notes:
The price levels are marked between 3,320 – 3,340, showing where the reversal is expected.
Interpretation:
The chart anticipates a retracement upward into the POIs before continuing the bearish move. Traders may look to enter short positions around these zones, especially the Extreme POI, which is seen as a high-probability reversal area.
USOIL Is Bearish! Short!
Please, check our technical outlook for USOIL.
Time Frame: 9h
Current Trend: Bearish
Sentiment: Overbought (based on 7-period RSI)
Forecast: Bearish
The market is approaching a significant resistance area 69.178.
Due to the fact that we see a positive bearish reaction from the underlined area, I strongly believe that sellers will manage to push the price all the way down to 66.684 level.
P.S
The term oversold refers to a condition where an asset has traded lower in price and has the potential for a price bounce.
Overbought refers to market scenarios where the instrument is traded considerably higher than its fair value. Overvaluation is caused by market sentiments when there is positive news.

HelenP. I After correction to support level, Gold start to growHi folks today I'm prepared for you Gold analytics. An examination of the chart highlights a well-established long-term uptrend, with the bullish structure being clearly defined by a major ascending trend line that has consistently provided dynamic support. Currently, the price is undergoing a healthy correction after being rejected from the major resistance zone around 3430. This pullback is now guiding the price towards a critical confluence of support, where the aforementioned ascending trend line intersects with a strong horizontal support zone at 3305 - 3285. My analysis for a long position is based on the high probability of a bullish reaction from this key area. I believe that as the price enters this support confluence, it will be met with strong buying pressure, as it represents a logical point for buyers to defend the trend. A confirmed bounce from this zone, demonstrated by a rejection of lower prices, would be the main condition to validate the continuation of the uptrend. Therefore, the primary goal for the subsequent rally is set at the 3430 resistance level, as a retest of the recent high is the most logical objective following a successful defense of the trend. EURO - Price can turn around of support level and rise to $1.165Hi guys, this is my overview for EURUSD, feel free to check it and write your feedback in comments👊
The market structure shifted after a breakout from a prior triangle pattern pushed the price higher.
This rally met resistance, and a new bearish trend emerged, creating a distinct falling channel.
The asset made several rotations inside this channel, with the most recent upswing failing at the $1.1720 resistance zone.
That failure to break higher initiated the current strong bearish impulse driving the price down.
Euro is now approaching a critical area of demand, the horizontal support zone near $1.1455.
I expect that buyers will defend the $1.1455 support level, causing a reversal that will carry the price towards the $1.1650 target.

Gold keeps falling – is there more to come?Hello everyone, great to see you again!
Today, gold remains under pressure following a series of strong U.S. economic data releases, which have reinforced expectations that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates elevated for longer. As a result, the U.S. dollar has strengthened, Treasury yields have climbed, and gold has lost its footing.
On the H1 chart, XAUUSD is clearly trading within a descending price channel. Both the EMA 34 and EMA 89 are acting as dynamic resistance zones. Recent attempts to rally have consistently failed at these levels, mirroring the bearish setup seen before July 29.
Currently, price is retesting a minor resistance area. If this retest fails, the next downside targets lie near 3,270 – and potentially down to 3,230 USD, which aligns with the lower boundary of the price channel.
From my perspective, the bearish momentum is likely to continue.
What about you? How do you think gold will close the day?
EUR/USD Setup Is Ready This is a bullish EUR/USD (Euro/US Dollar) 1-hour chart analysis. The setup indicates a potential upward reversal after a downtrend, supported by a series of higher lows.
Key elements:
Entry Point: Around 1.14044–1.14376.

Targets:
First Target: 1.15034
Second Target: 1.15892
Third Target: 1.17238
The chart suggests a buy setup with a risk-reward strategy, aiming for a breakout and continuation towards higher resistance levels. The large upward arrow emphasizes bullish momentum expectations.
Bearish pennant pattern active. Active SELL✏️Gold price is forming a triangle accumulation pattern. That shows the hesitation of investors at the moment, they may be waiting for important economic indicators of the US this week. EURUSD – Retest Failed, Bearish Pressure RemainsHello, what’s your take on FX:EURUSD ?
After breaking the trendline, EURUSD attempted a retest but failed. The price is now hovering around 1.142, with selling pressure still evident.

USD/CAD Rises to 2-Month HighUSD/CAD Rises to 2-Month High
Today, the USD/CAD exchange rate briefly exceeded the 1.3870 mark – the highest level seen this summer. In less than ten days, the US dollar has strengthened by over 2% against the Canadian dollar.
Why Is USD/CAD Rising?
Given that both the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Canada left interest rates unchanged on Wednesday (as expected), the primary driver behind the pair’s recent rally appears to be US President Donald Trump's decision to impose tariffs on several countries – including Canada:
→ Despite efforts by Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney to reach an agreement with Trump, no deal was achieved;
→ Canadian goods exported to the US will now be subject to a 35% tariff;
→ The tariffs take effect from 1 August;
→ Goods compliant with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) are exempt.
Media analysts note that the tariffs are likely to increase pressure on the Canadian economy, as approximately 75% of the country's exports are destined for the United States.
USD/CAD Technical Analysis
At the end of July, the price formed a steep ascending channel (A-B), with bullish momentum confirmed by a decisive breakout above the 1.3790 resistance level, as illustrated by the arrow:
→ the pullback before the breakout was relatively shallow;
→ the bullish breakout was marked by a long bullish candlestick with a close near the session high;
→ following the breakout, the price confidently consolidated above 1.3790.
Provided that the fundamental backdrop does not undergo a major shift, bulls might attempt to maintain control in the market. However, the likelihood of a correction is also increasing, as the RSI indicator has entered extreme overbought territory.
Should USD/CAD show signs of a correction after its steep ascent, support might be found at:
→ line C, drawn parallel to the A-B channel at a distance of its width;
→ the previously mentioned 1.3790 level, which now acts as a support following the breakout.

GOLD falls sharply, fundamental analysis and technical positionOANDA:XAUUSD fell sharply below the $3,300/oz price level as Chairman Jerome Powell did not signal any rate cuts at his next press conference on September 16-17. He only said that “no decision has been made on September” and that “more data will be evaluated in the coming months.” Economic data undermined the case for a rate cut, while geopolitical play remained a potential support.
The Fed and Interest Rates
The Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged for a fifth straight meeting on Wednesday, defying persistent pressure from President Donald Trump and White House officials.
However, two members of the central bank's board dissented, a rare move in three decades that underscored growing divisions within the central bank over the impact of Trump's tariff policies.
At the meeting, the Fed kept its benchmark federal funds rate in a range of 4.25% to 4.5%, in line with policy through 2025. Last fall, the Fed cut rates by a total of 100 basis points.
However, Federal Reserve Board Governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman opposed cutting interest rates by another 25 basis points, marking the first time since Alan Greenspan in 1993 that two board members have opposed a majority resolution at a meeting.
At the press conference, Chairman Jerome Powell did not signal a rate cut at the next interest rate meeting on September 16-17, saying only that “no decision has been made about September” and that “more data will be evaluated in the coming months.” Powell also noted that despite Trump’s call for a sharp 3% rate cut to reduce interest costs on US debt and stimulate the housing market, the Fed will continue to monitor the longer-term impact of tariffs on the path of inflation and economic recovery.
Market expectations for a Fed rate cut in September fell to 47% in Powell's speech.
Economic data
ADP jobs data beats expectations and is bearish
US ADP payrolls jumped 104,000 in July, beating market expectations of 75,000 and marking the biggest gain since March. The data showed continued strength in the labor market, reinforcing the Federal Reserve’s stance on keeping interest rates high. Meanwhile, the preliminary estimate of annual GDP growth in the second quarter came in at 3% (2.4% expected), and the core personal consumption expenditures price index rose 2.5% year-on-year (2.3% expected), indicating both economic resilience and inflation stability, further weakening expectations for a rate cut.
Keep an eye on the ISM manufacturing PMI and non-farm payrolls data on August 1. If the jobs numbers continue to be strong, this could reinforce the Fed’s dovish stance.
Geopolitical and Policy Plays
News of a 90-day extension of the US-China tariff deal has eased some safe-haven demand, but Trump’s August 8 deadline for a new Russia-Ukraine deal, coupled with tensions in the Middle East, continue to provide potential support for gold.
Continued purchases by central banks (such as China and India) are a positive signal in the medium to long term, but are unlikely to offset short-term pressure from the Federal Reserve’s policies.
Technical outlook for OANDA:XAUUSD
On the daily chart, gold has been sold below the $3,300 level and now the $3,300 level has become the nearest resistance at present. For now, gold will be limited by the area of the 0.382% Fibonacci retracement with the original price point of $3,300, along with that it has formed a short-term downtrend with the price channel, the next target will be around $3,246 in the short term followed by the Fibonacci retracement level noted with readers in previous publications.
On the momentum front, the Relative Strength Index is operating below 50 and is far from the oversold zone (20-0), indicating that there is still plenty of room for downside ahead.
In addition, the gold trend will also be pressured by the EMA21, as long as gold remains below the EMA21, the current technical conditions continue to favor the downside.
For the day, the technical outlook for gold is bearish with notable positions listed as follows.
