XAU/USD Price Action Analysis – June 12, 2025 XAU/USD Price Action Analysis – June 12, 2025 🪙📈
📊 Technical Overview:
The chart presents a clear range-bound market structure with well-defined zones of support and resistance:
📍 Key Levels:
🔴 Resistance Zone: $3,380 – $3,400
Price has been rejected multiple times from this level, as indicated by red arrows. It marks a strong supply zone.
🟢 Support Zone: $3,280 – $3,300
Price has bounced several times from this demand area, forming a reliable support base.
📏 Intermediate Level: $3,319.38
Marked with a purple line, this is likely a mid-range liquidity zone or a previous minor structure level.
🔄 Price Action Insights:
Double Bottom Formation: Notable at the support zone, confirming strong buying interest (highlighted with orange circles and green arrows). This pattern often signals a bullish reversal.
Current Price: Trading near $3,375.645, approaching the resistance area again.
Projected Scenarios:
Bullish Continuation 📈: Break and close above the resistance could trigger momentum to the upside — watch for a breakout with strong volume.
Pullback Scenario 🔁: A rejection from resistance could cause a retest of $3,319.38 or even the support zone, forming a higher low before a potential rally.
🧠 Strategy Outlook:
Bullish Bias 🐂 as long as price holds above $3,319.38.
Watch for Breakout 🚀 above resistance with volume confirmation for long entries.
Caution ⚠️ near resistance; ideal to wait for either a breakout or clear rejection.
📌 Conclusion:
The chart reflects accumulation within a range, with bullish structure emerging. A break above $3,400 could shift market sentiment decisively upward, while a failure at resistance invites a deeper pullback.
Xauusdanalysis
The bulls rise strongly and continue to rise after falling backFrom the 4-hour analysis, today's support is around 3345-50. If the intraday retracement relies on this position, the main bullish trend will remain unchanged. The short-term bullish strong dividing line is 3320-25. Before the daily level falls below this position, any retracement is a long opportunity. Maintain the main tone of participating in the trend.
Gold operation strategy:
1. If gold falls back to 3340-45 and does not break, go long, stop loss 3335, target 3375-3380, continue to hold if it breaks
At present, the market has invalidated the 4-hour bearish FVG.Gold Market Update:
The gold market is currently moving upward after previously sweeping the liquidity below the previous day's lows. This liquidity grab typically signals the exhaustion of bearish momentum, and in this case, it appears to have served as a springboard for the current upward movement.
Notably, the bearish PD arrays (Price Delivery Arrays)—which are often indicative of bearish structure and order flow—are currently failing to hold. This failure suggests a weakening of bearish pressure and a possible shift in market sentiment toward bullishness.
At present, the market has invalidated the 4-hour bearish Fair Value Gap (FVG) and successfully closed above it. This is a significant development, as it often implies that the price is rejecting lower levels and building strength to push further upward. In simple terms, the market has absorbed the bearish imbalance and chosen to go higher, showing strong bullish intent.
Given this scenario, it's reasonable to interpret that the market is now aiming for higher levels, specifically toward the previous weekly high—marked on the chart with the line labeled "WH" (Weekly High). The price action suggests that the market is in the mood to test or reach that level in the near term.
However, this is not a guarantee. It's essential to watch the market closely for further confirmation signals before making any trading decisions. Additional confirmations could come from continuation patterns, bullish structure formations, or order flow alignment.

Gold surged, what will be the trend today?Information summary:
On Wednesday, the US dollar index plunged during the session as the CPI data that was lower than expected boosted the market's expectations of interest rate cuts. As of now, the lowest point is near 98.2.
After the release of the CPI data, gold rose in the short term and touched the 3360 US dollar mark, and then quickly gave up the gains and retreated to around 3320. However, it rose again due to the sharp escalation of the situation in the Middle East. As of now, the highest is around 3380.
Market analysis:
From the current 4-hour chart:
Yesterday's 3360 pressure level has been broken, and the Asian market has successfully stood above this position in the early trading. Then the suppression position of 3360 has turned into a support level. Therefore, the position we should pay close attention to next should be 3360-3350. If the price falls back to around 3350, it is possible to enter the market and do more. If the price rises again, it is very likely to break through 3400. Once it breaks through 3400, it will most likely reach around 3420.
Secondly, from the hourly chart, there are some signs of head and shoulders bottom. It would be perfect if it can fall back and then go up again. But gold cannot fall below 3345 again. If it falls below 3345 again, it cannot be long.
Operation strategy:
Go long when the price falls back to around 3350, stop loss at 3340, profit range 3375-3400.
Gold (XAU/USD) Intraday Outlook – 12 June 2025Current Price: ~$3,373 (intraday) –
Gold is holding near recent highs after a sharp rally. Bullish momentum has improved markedly, fueled in part by favorable fundamentals (soft US CPI and geopolitical tensions lifting safe-haven demand)
On the charts, the short-term trend is upward, with buyers firmly in control following a breakout above prior resistance.
4H Trend & Key Levels
4H chart highlighting break of structure, demand (green) and supply (red) zones, and key intraday levels. Note the major demand zone that held around 3,214 (green) and the supply zone near 3,284 (red) which was a focal resistance. The 50% retracement of the prior day’s range (blue line near 3,274) acted as intraday resistance in that earlier session
Such annotations show where institutional activity likely set support (demand) and resistance (supply) areas. On the 4-hour chart, gold’s momentum is strongly bullish. The recent surge to 3375 pushed price above its 10-day moving average and widened the upper Bollinger Bands on both H1 and H4 – signs of a powerful uptrend. This came after gold cleared a major resistance around the $3,350 zone, which had capped prices earlier. With that barrier broken, the next upside target on the higher time frame is the $3,400 level (a notable psychological and technical hurdle)
In fact, it can be projected that a clean breakout above the ~3,380/3,390 zone could open the path toward $3,403 and even $3,430 in extension
Reflecting the next supply areas or Fibonacci extension targets above. Support levels on the 4H are stepping up as the trend rises. Previously, $3,320 (the last day’s high in late May) turned from resistance into support after the breakout. Now, immediate support is seen around $3,345–3,350, which corresponds to the top of the recent consolidation and roughly the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement of this week’s rally
Below that, the $3,330–3,335 zone (around the 61.8% retracement of the rally) is a secondary intraday support area
These levels also align with prior demand zones and the previous day’s lows, making them likely zones where buyers might step in on dips. Overall, as long as gold holds above the mid-$3,300s, the 4H bias remains bullish. The 4H structure shows higher highs and higher lows, and technical signals (price above short-term EMAs and an improving RSI) reinforce the short-term bullish outlook
Educational Note: In an uptrend, old resistance often becomes new support. Here $3,350 was a major resistance in the past and could serve as support if prices pull back. Traders also watch Fibonacci retracement levels within the up-move for potential bounce points – for gold, the 35-50% retracement zone of the latest swing (approximately $3,350 down to $3,330) is viewed as an attractive “buy-the-dip” area intraday.
On the 1-hour chart, gold has been oscillating upward within a rising channel. After each push higher, it has formed brief consolidations or bull flags that resolved to the upside.
For example, after the strong push to ~3375, price coiled in a classic bull flag pattern, hinting at momentum building for another breakout. This pattern of consolidation after a rally shows healthy bullish behavior – buyers pausing before continuing the move. Higher lows (HL) and higher highs (HH) are clearly present, indicating a steady uptrend structure on the 1H
In fact, gold’s price action has been “taking out liquidity then taking out highs and creating new highs,” leaving no sign of bear control so far. This means each time the price dips and grabs some stop-loss liquidity from weak longs, it quickly reverses and surges to a fresh peak – a hallmark of a strong trend supported by larger players. From an SMC perspective, we can spot where institutional traders may be active. Recently, gold retested a major demand zone in the low $3,300s and rocketed higher. Specifically, price dipped to about $3,297 (just below a prior support), which appears to have been a liquidity grab (fake-out) below the obvious support level
Smart money often drives price briefly below such a level to trigger stop-losses, then buys into that liquidity. Indeed, a strong bullish rejection off $3,297-3,300 occurred, indicating aggressive buying (accumulation) by big players at that historical support
This confirmed a solid demand zone, and bulls defended it vigorously – a clear sign that institutional demand underpins that area. After the fake-out and bounce, gold quickly resumed making higher lows, confirming the uptrend’s resumption. Now, the focus shifts to the overhead supply zone. Gold is trading just below $3,380–3,390, a zone that previously acted as major intraday resistance.
In past attempts, price sharply sold off from this area, suggesting it’s a pocket of supply (sell orders) or profit-taking for institutions. This makes $3,380-$3,390 a key decision point: if bullish momentum is strong enough to drive a clean break through this supply, we could see a swift move higher (as mentioned, targets in the low $3,400s become viable)
However, if gold struggles and prints bearish signals (e.g. aggressive wick rejections or a change in character to lower lows on 15m/1H) near 3380-3390, it may indicate that sellers are defending this zone again, potentially causing a pullback. Traders are watching closely to see if smart money will cap the price here or let it run. It’s worth noting that intraday liquidity has built up around certain levels. Minor equal highs around $3,375-3,377 were taken out earlier (as gold hit a weekly high of ~$3,377) ,and now liquidity might reside just above $3,390 (at buy stops of breakout traders) and below $3,340 (sell stops of longs). The path of least resistance intraday appears upward unless those lower support levels start breaking. As long as gold remains inside this rising structure, the bias is to buy dips rather than sell rallies. Only a clear break below the $3,337–3,340 support (recent range floor) would hint at a short-term trend shift down. Until then, bulls are in charge. Educational Note: Order blocks and supply/demand zones are areas where price saw a sharp move, indicating institutional orders. In gold’s case, an H1 demand block near $3,300 (origin of the recent rally) is such an area – price dipped into it and then launched higher
Conversely, the $3,380-$3,390 area is a supply zone from which price fell previously.
Watching price behavior at these zones (e.g. strong rejection vs. breakthrough) gives clues: a heavy rejection implies continued range or reversal, while a breakthrough suggests a new leg of trend.
Trade Setups
Buy on Dip (Bullish Setup):
If gold retraces into the $3,345–3,355 support zone, consider a long entry near ~$3,350 (a key Fibonacci support & prior breakout level)
A suggested stop-loss is just below $3,335 (to stay under the 61.8% retracement and recent swing low). Target the $3,375 area for partial profits, and $3,385–3,390 if momentum continues. This buy-on-dips approach aligns with the prevailing uptrend – as one analyst noted, “Gold below 3350 is an opportunity to buy on dips”
(Rationale: You’re buying at support in an uptrend, aiming for a retest of the highs.)
Sell Near Resistance (Bearish Setup):
If gold rallies toward the $3,390–3,400 zone but shows rejection (stalling candles or a bearish reversal pattern) at that resistance, one can consider a short entry around ~$3,395. Place a tight stop-loss above $3,405 (just beyond the major resistance). Target a pullback to about $3,370 first, and $3,350 on an extended drop. This trade fades a possible near-term top in case the supply zone holds. For instance, a suggested plan from another analyst was to “sell around 3397–3400” with stops above 3409, looking for a move back to the mid-$3,300s
(Rationale: You’re selling at an identified supply zone, expecting a short-term correction.)
Breakout Scenario:
For traders who prefer momentum plays, watch $3,380 on the upside and $3,340 on the downside. A 1H candle close beyond $3,380 with strong volume would confirm a breakout – you could then target ~$3,405 and above (trail stops as it goes)
Conversely, a drop below $3,340 might signal a bearish intraday reversal, opening downside targets near $3,315 and $3,300
If trading the breakout, ensure confirmation (no fake-outs) – wait for a retest if possible, and then ride the move. (This scenario is only for when price definitively exits the current range.)
Remember: The intraday trend is bullish, so lean toward long setups unless key supports break. Keep it simple – trade the price action you see. Gold can be volatile, so it's wise to use stop losses and not over-leverage. Happy trading! 📈✨

BEST XAUUSD M30 BUY AND SELL SETUP FOR TODAY Gold has shown a strong bullish push, breaking above recent consolidation and approaching a key resistance zone around $3,376. ⚔️ This area will be decisive — if price holds above it and confirms support, we could see a further rally toward $3,404. 📈✨ However, failure to sustain above this level could trigger a bearish rejection, pulling the market back toward the $3,330–$3,340 range. 📉🔄 Traders should wait for clear price action confirmation before entering. React, don’t predict! 🎯🧠
Will gold surge and then fall after CPI?Judging from the 4-hour gold chart, gold maintains an overall volatile upward trend, so I think the data may be an opportunity to arrange short orders at highs. Although the price of gold has risen rapidly after the data was released, it should be noted that it has shown obvious signs of pressure in the volatile trading concentration area of 3380-3390. Since the current bullish momentum is not enough to effectively break through this key resistance level, the decline of gold prices after rising is in line with technical logic. Specific operation suggestions are to follow the trend of low-long and high-short trading strategies. From the current situation, I suggest that gold rebounds to around 3380-3385 to arrange short orders.
Operation strategy:
1. It is recommended to short gold near the rebound of 3380-3385, with a stop loss at 3393 and a target of 3360-3340;
Insist on shorting gold on ralliesToday we made a total profit of 350 pips in 2 short trades. First, we shorted gold near 3345, and when gold fell to around 3330, we manually closed the order to lock in profits; the second time, gold rebounded sharply with the help of CPI data, and we seized the opportunity to short gold again near 3360, and ended the transaction by hitting TP: 3340. We accurately grasped the profit of gold shorting.
At present, gold is in a narrow range of fluctuations near the 3330 mark. Relatively speaking, gold is still in a weak position. Although gold has rebounded sharply with the help of the positive CPI data, it has shown a long upper shadow in the candle chart due to the rapid retracement, which has strengthened the resistance above and limited the rebound space of gold in the short term. In addition, the morphological structure shows signs of building a head and shoulders top structure. The resistance area in the short term is 3345-3355; followed by 3360-3370. Although gold is currently in a narrow range of fluctuations near the 3330 mark, it does not show obvious signs of support. It is easy to fall below the area near 3330 in a weak situation. The relatively strong support is in the 3320-3310 area, followed by the area near 3300-3290.
So for short-term trading, I still advocate taking the 3345-3355 area as resistance first and continue to short gold!
BEST XAUUSD M30 BUY SETUP FOR TODAYPrice is showing signs of bullish strength after reclaiming key demand zones near 3,310.926–3,315.098 🟦. The recent CHoCH (Change of Character) and strong bullish reaction from the demand block suggests a potential move toward the 3,360 resistance area 🔼. Buyers are likely stepping in with momentum, aiming for a break above previous highs 📉➡️📈. As long as price stays above the 3,315 support, the bullish scenario remains valid — watch for continuation toward higher highs. 🚀💹
Gold/XAUUSD Possible CPI Move 11 June 2025Technical Analysis
Key Confluences Supporting the Buy Setup:
Trendline Support
The gold shows a well-respected ascending trendline, which has been tested multiple times. This provides a dynamic level of support.
Horizontal Support Zone (3323–3326)
This area previously acted as resistance and has now flipped to support. The consolidation here suggests a demand zone.
Bullish Market Structure
The market is forming higher highs and higher lows, indicating a bullish structure. The current pullback may serve as a liquidity grab before continuation.
Liquidity Below 3320
There is likely a liquidity pocket just below 3320. Price could sweep below support to trap sellers before reversing upward.
CPI News Catalyst
CPI data release can cause volatility. The stop-loss below 3314 is well-placed to allow for a spike without invalidating the bullish structure.
Trade Setup Summary
Bias: Bullish
Entry Zone: 3323–3326
Confirmation: Reaction from the trendline and horizontal support after CPI release
Take Profit (TP): 3335/3349 (targeting the recent high and potential double top liquidity)
Stop Loss (SL): Below 3314
Risk-Reward Ratio (RRR): Approximately 1:2
Entry Trigger: Look for a strong bullish rejection or engulfing pattern at the 3323–3326 zone to confirm entry.
Management: Consider partial profit booking near 3340 if volatility increases or if price shows signs of rejection before the target.
XAUUSD: Volatile Uptrend Breaks Through Narrow RangeTechnical indicators are just references for the trend of gold, and the real market movement is driven by market sentiment.
The CPI data released today was lower than expected, which is a bullish signal for gold. The information on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond auction released in the evening is bearish based on the data. In addition, news about various geopolitical conflicts are all influencing and driving market sentiment.
In the long term, gold is definitely trending upward. For short-term operations, technical analysis needs to be combined with the current market sentiment.
Today's various data have caused gold to show a volatile upward trend. After breaking through the resistance of the narrow range at $3,350 and reaching $3,360, it retracted to around $3,320. The current trading range is $3,300-$3,380.

How to arrange the gold price in the evening? Go long at 3330📰 Impact of news:
1. CPI data is profitable
2. The US CPI rose slightly in May, and Trump's tariff effect has not yet fully emerged
📈 Market analysis:
The trend line position of the 4H chart coincides and resonates with the middle track of the Bollinger Band, with 3326 as the watershed reference. This is why it is difficult to break below this point after repeated tests. Once it breaks below, the short-term trend is likely to fluctuate from strong to weak. However, the current support below is still strong at 3330-3326. The repeated rise and fall of data during the day also stopped the decline at this point. If the price does not lose here, the pattern of strong fluctuations will remain unchanged, and the bulls will gradually regain lost ground. At present, it is time for space. The operation suggestion for the future market is to continue to rely on the bullish trend above 3330, and 3330-3326 can be flexibly entered. At the same time, the RSI indicator is above 50 and there is still some space from the overbought zone. The signal is given that 3360, although the long upper shadow line K is closed, is very likely not the short-term top. After the sharp rise and fall in 1H, it went sideways and waited for the next wave of strength. If the night close is above 3326, the upper area will probably be 3350-3360. If the price can break through and stabilize this level, the upward pace will most likely accelerate to reach 3370-3380.

"Will gold resume its uptrend after a pullback from the rally?"Following the release of CPI data, gold showed strong performance. Unlike previous instances where data impacts were fleeting, gold decisively rallied, indicating that the data will continue to influence gold's short-term trend – meaning gold is likely to continue its upward movement in the short term. Technically, gold has broken out to the upside, and the bullish momentum is bound to persist for some time. Attention should be paid to the daily close: if a strong bullish candle forms, the upside space on the daily chart will open, with the next target directly at the 3400 high.
On the 4-hour chart, higher highs and higher lows indicate a clear ranging uptrend. After the CPI data, gold surged then pulled back, but the low failed to break below the previous low. Thus, the correction is seen as a buying opportunity. The upper resistance lies near 3360-63; a break above this level would target 3400. The lower support to watch is 3326 – this is the European session pullback low and a key level determining whether the market can maintain its strength. As long as there is no sharp decline, the market remains bullish.
Humans need to breathe, and perfect trading is like breathing—maintaining flexibility without needing to trade every market swing. The secret to profitable trading lies in implementing simple rules: repeating simple tasks consistently and enforcing them strictly over the long term.

Is gold going up or down? From a technical point of view, although the daily line did not rise on Tuesday, there is a very obvious feature in the daily cycle, that is, the middle track of Bollinger has not broken, and multiple attempts have not changed this technical point. This is the support point for the short-term retracement and the defensive point for the long-term rise. As long as this point is not broken, gold will be firmly bullish. Gold will continue to look at the closing of the daily line. If it closes positively, it closes with a big positive, and the space above the daily line opens up, and the 3400 high point can be seen directly. The 4-hour chart is now also a simple shock upward view. After multiple adjustments, it cannot go down. It can be clearly seen that gold is absolutely strong, and the upward trend is the final way. The upper target is near 3370, so it is bullish today, and gold pays attention to the resistance of 3350-3370. Today, you can pay attention to the support of 3315 below and continue to go long.
Gold operation strategy: It is recommended to buy at 3315-3320, stop loss at 3310, target at 3330-3340. It is recommended to sell once when it touches 3350, stop loss at 3360, target at 3330-3320.
High-level shock, pay attention to the upper suppression levelFrom the 4-hour analysis, the support below is around 3315-20. If it falls back to this position, we will continue to look at the rebound and upward continuation. The resistance above is around 3345-50. The overall gold price remains the main tone of high-altitude low-multiple cycles. I will remind you of the specific operation strategy in the channel, please pay attention to it in time.
Gold operation strategy:
1. If gold falls back to 3315-20, buy more. If it falls back to 3295-3003, buy more. Stop loss 3285, target 3345-3350, and continue to hold if it breaks;
Continue to short gold Gold rebounded from around 3315 and has now reached above 3340. According to the current structure, gold tends to rebound upward. But the characteristics of the recent market trends are also very obvious. Gold has risen with difficulty, but has retreated very quickly! Overall, there was no continuation in the process of long and short games, which was disorderly fluctuation.
According to the current structure, as long as gold cannot break through the 3350-3355 area and the bulls have not completely gained the upper hand, gold still has the potential to go down and test the 3320-3310 area again. Therefore, for short-term trading, we should not chase gold too much, and we can still try to short gold with the 3345-3355 area as resistance.
How to plan for the positive effects of CPI data?📰 Impact of news:
1. CPI data is profitable
2. The US CPI rose slightly in May, and Trump's tariff effect has not yet fully emerged
📈 Market analysis:
The CPI data is bullish. The current gold price has risen to around 3360. We took profits at the 3330 level and exited the market, which once again confirmed the forward-looking nature of our trading vision. From a technical perspective, the RSI indicator in the short-term hourly chart is close to the overbought area. In the short term, pay attention to the upper resistance line of 3360-3365. If it rebounds to the 61.8% position and encounters resistance and pressure, consider shorting at high levels. On the contrary, if it effectively breaks through and stabilizes above, it is expected to touch the 3400 line. In the short term, pay attention to the lower support line of 3340-3330.

6/11 Gold Analysis and Trading SignalsGood afternoon, traders!
Gold remains capped below the key resistance at 3350, with repeated failed breakouts. Meanwhile, strong support zones below are keeping the price range-bound in a narrow consolidation channel.
📉 Technical Outlook:
As higher lows continue to form, the trendline support is gradually shifting upwards. On the 30-minute chart, we now observe a potential double top pattern forming. If confirmed, it would signal a bearish reversal with the possibility of further downside.
🔍 Key Support Levels:
Watch for the 3330 level as initial support. If it’s broken decisively and the market fails to recover quickly, this may confirm the short-term double top and open the door for more aggressive selling.
On a broader timeframe, focus on 3320 as a critical support area.
📊 Fundamental Focus:
The key event today is the release of U.S. CPI data, which carries significant market-moving potential. A strong reading could be bearish for gold, supporting a shift in sentiment toward the downside.
