BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL & DOGE lead $709M Crypto liquidations
Over the past 24 hours, the crypto market has mirrored a sudden decline reaching $3.70 trillion with Bitcoin falling below $115,000 for the 1st time in the last few couple trading sessions, according to the data from CoinGlass, the total liquidation in the past 24 hours reached $709.39 million with a total of 161,401 traders liquidated. It is worth noting that as soon as Ethereum was seen approaching $4,000, a sudden drop was observed, with total liquidation in Ethereum peaking $265.71 million, with $234.25 million in long and $31.46 million in shorts. Source: CoinMarketCap
However, in the past 12 hours, the liquidation chart was topped by Ethereum with $140.73 million, including $126.67 million in long and around $14.05 million short. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance – ETHUSDC value $4.45 million. Bitcoin, XRP, Solana, and Doge also saw a major liquidation
Liquidation in Bitcoin has crossed the mark of $160 million reaching at $162.84 million with $152.68 million in long and $10.16 million in short, yet in past 12 hours, BTC’s liquidation has reached $75.22 million, the surged liquidation has pulled Bitcoin price below $115,000 and as of writing it is exchanging hands at $113,507 with a pull of 1.60%. According to the data from CoinMarketCap, the total volume of Bitcoin has surged by 2.80% reaching $78.99 billion, with $79,566,807,596 from centralized exchanges and $129,674,537. Source: CoinMarketCap

It is crucial to note that the pace of liquidation in Solana in the past 12 hours doesn’t seem to be collating with liquidation peaking $25.48 million, long traders seem to be initiating more pulls than shorts.

The memecoin pioneer, Dogecoin, has matched altcoins and other known cryptocurrencies in terms of liquidation, and in the past 24 hours, the total liquidation in DOGE is $25.39 million, with $22.38 million and only $3.01 million in shorts.
Following the liquidation, a sudden price change in Dogecoin has been noted, with it falling by 4.42% reaching $0.1965, and its trading volume has reached $2.96 billion with an increase of nearly 22.01%.
