Why go social

You may have heard that two heads are better than one. This is especially true when it comes to sensitive topics like trading, investing, and building your life-long or generational wealth. To avoid trading biases, which can be devastating for your portfolio, you may want to know what others think about the markets and their perspectives.

Reading news is becoming an everyday routine — you scroll the endless feed from top outlets, many of which have their own lens for scanning the global landscape. Interpretations of those may not be that obvious. So we encourage you to connect with traders from all around the world and see what the sentiment is like in other parts of the globe and how others understand the ever-changing regulations, read financial statements, and analyze Supercharts.

To grow your network, explore what you can find on TradingView and how to engage with like-minded traders and investors.

Trade ideas

You can start exploring markets with our community ideas. They are published by our users for everyone interested in technical and fundamental analysis

Trading ideas are not limited to opinions on markets’ state, entry and exit levels, and more. Our authors also share tips on trading psychologyposition sizing, or what to choose — technicals or fundamentals.

You can choose different types of ideas to read, including popular, editors' picks, for you, and following. Each provides you with diverse opinions on assets and strategies:

  • Popular: Recent ideas that get the attention of our community
  • Editor's picks: Top ideas selected by our editorial board moderators
  • For you: A personalized feed with ideas we think you'll be interested in. It's based on your preferences and is regularly updated
  • Following: Another personalized feed, but this one you create yourself by following your favorite authors to get timely market updates from them

Community scripts

TradingViewers can create custom indicators and strategies using our Pine Script® — a programming language designed by traders for traders.

If you're looking for new ways to read charts, you can access Pine indicators in the "Indicators, metrics, and strategies" menu on the chart. From there, navigate to the "Community" tab to explore editor's picks, top, and trending scripts.

If you're a coder wanting to create your personal script, read our Pine manual to know where to start, how the language works, and what its concepts and limitations are.

Minds

Minds is a social feature designed specifically for exchanging thoughts on a particular symbol.

Say you want to discuss only Amazon's stock. You can click on the "Publish" button at the top right corner of Supercharts and then choose "Speak your mind."

In the same window you'll also be able to access ideas and news on this symbol.

Or you can access a minds feed from a symbol’s page: simply head to the Discussions tab.

House rules

Every idea, mind, or message you share must follow our House Rules — these keep our community a safe place where everyone can contribute. We encourage you to review these simple guidelines to increase the visibility of your posts and help others better understand your insights.

TradingView moderators

Our moderators are dedicated users of the community who earned trust from other members and TradingView staff. They participate in content reviews to make sure it aligns with the House Rules.

If you have questions regarding TradingView content, you can connect with active moderators and ask them directly via private messages.

Brokerage reviews

This is another important way to see what our community members think, but this time, it’s all about our top brokers. Choose the one you want to learn more about, and from their page, see the comments on how they provide their services.

Official TradingView social media

Besides the mentioned social features, we have a TradingView Blog where we post updates on recent changes.

Also, follow us on other resources and stay updated with the world of trading:
