ITM is an intermediate municipal bond ETF that represents the US investment grade market. The fund includes US municipal obligations whose interests are generally exempt from federal taxes and the alternative minimum tax (AMT). These bonds must have a fixed coupon schedule and should have 6 to 17 years remaining term to final maturity. Index components are market-value-weighted and monthly rebalanced. Prior to March 1, 2022, the fund tracked the Bloomberg AMT-Free Intermediate Continuous Municipal Index. Then until November 30, 2022, the fund used a transition index to gradually broaden its exposure before tracking its current index.
