XAUUSD Long Setup – Retest of Broken Structure & Safe-Haven FlowGold has pulled back to retest a strong former resistance (now support) zone around $3,385–$3,390. This level aligns with a previous breakout and marks the neckline of an inverted head-and-shoulders pattern. The pair is now showing bullish structure with back-to-back continuation patterns (bull flags), suggesting further upside potential.
Given escalating geopolitical risk (Iran-Israel strikes, Trump-led evacuation urgency), slowing Fed cut expectations, and softening inflation-adjusted yields, gold remains in demand.
🔍 Technical Analysis:
Structure: Higher highs and higher lows maintained.
Support Zone: $3,385–$3,390 (retest zone) – bulls stepping back in.
Targets:
TP1: $3,451
TP2: $3,470
TP3: $3,495 (new local high)
Stop Loss: Below $3,369 (recent low)
Pattern Context: Bull flags continue to form and break bullish – reinforcing trend.
🧠 Fundamental Context (June 17):
Bullish Drivers:
Middle East escalation → safe haven bid surging (Iran missile launches, Israeli retaliation, US political chaos).
Fed on pause → real yields are subdued, favoring non-yielding assets like gold.
Convexity & bond volatility rising → investors hedging with hard assets (confirmed via CME sentiment reports).
Risks:
Sudden peace deal or ceasefire.
Unexpected US CPI spike → reawakens rate hike fears.
📅 Key Events to Watch:
Fed speeches (confirmation of dovish tone)
Any ceasefire or major diplomatic development
Oil movement (energy risk spillovers)

GOLD - Price will bounce from support area and start to growHi guys, this is my overview for XAUUSD, feel free to check it and write your feedback in comments👊
Some days ago price declined to $3220 level and then started to grow, and soon reached $3380 level and even broke it.
Then price started to trades inside wedge, where it at once started to decline and in a short time declined to support line of wedge.
After this, Gold rose and broke $3220 level and continued to move up in wedge, where it also made two gaps before.
Price rose to $3380 level and some time traded very close to this level, but later corrected to support line.
Next, price made a strong impulse, breaking $3380 level and exiting from wedge as well, and continued to grow.
Recently, Gold started to fall, so I think that it will fall to support area and then bounce up to $3500

XAU/USD,4h chart pattern.Im looking to buy Gold at 3432 with a target of 3500. Here's a quick analysis and trade plan for this idea:
---
🟡 Gold Trade Setup
Buy Entry: 3432
Target (Take Profit): 3500
Potential Gain: 68 points
Suggested Stop Loss: Around 3400 (for a 1:2 risk/reward ratio)
---
📊 Things to Consider:
1. Trend: Ensure the current market trend supports a bullish move. Look for higher lows and higher highs.
2. Support at 3432: Is this a strong support level? If it’s holding multiple times, it can be a good entry.
3. Resistance at 3500: This could be a psychological or historical resistance. Be ready for partial profit booking near it.
4. News & Events: Watch for U.S. economic data or Fed comments that could impact gold volatility.
5. Risk Management: Don’t risk more than 1-2% of your capital on this trade.

THE KOG REPORT - FOMCTHE KOG REPORT – FOMC
This is our view for FOMC, please do your own research and analysis to make an informed decision on the markets. It is not recommended you try to trade the event if you have less than 6 months trading experience and have a trusted risk strategy in place. The markets are extremely volatile, and these events can cause aggressive swings in price.
A you can see traders the pre-event price action started yesterday with the hourly now playing between the MA’s and waiting for FOMC for a potential breakout. As usual, we have highlighted the key levels and added the red boxes for all of you to help navigate the movement should this not be priced in.
Also remember, there is a press conference after the release, this is usually the time the market will react to anything Powell says about future plans for the economy.
Now, looking at the 4H, we have support at the 3370-65 level and below that 3355. If these are attacked and give a RIP, opportunity for the long trade may be available into the 3395 red box which price will need to break to go higher. If we can break above this red box, we can then look to attempt higher price with the levels 3430, 3445 and above that 3455-60 on the horizon. It’s that red box sitting higher up around the 3470-75 region which needs to be watched if we do get up there as an opportunity to attempt the reverse trade may present itself from there depending on the volume.
So in summary, we have 3 key levels in play, ideally a move upside and rejection from the 3400-6 level giving a further dip would suit buyers to get better pricing.
KOG’s RED BOX TARGETS:
BREAK ABOVE 3395 for 3404, 3406, 3410, 3420, 3430, 3435 and 3459 in extension of the move
BREAK BELOW 3380 FOR 3375, 3364, 3351, 3342, 3333 AND 3327 IN EXTENSION OF THE MOVE

Gold price crosses $3,400 due to geopolitical uncertaintyGold price crosses $3,400 due to geopolitical uncertainty
On Friday, gold decisively broke through the $3,400 resistance zone, confirming a bullish wave. This upward movement was fueled by geopolitical tensions, as Israel launched an attack on Iran, followed by Iran’s retaliation targeting Tel Aviv. With the situation still unfolding, the potential for further escalation remains uncertain.
Technical Analysis: Gold continues to show strength, and uncertainty surrounding the Middle East conflict may keep its price above $3,400 for the foreseeable future. This level serves as a pivotal zone, despite overbought conditions.
Looking ahead, gold could climb further to $3,450, $3,470, and potentially retest the top of the structure near $3,490. After that, the next move will depend on how the geopolitical landscape evolves.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Great start to the week with our chart idea playing out to perfection once again!!
We started with our Bullish target at 3440 hit followed with no ema5 cross and lock confirming the perfect rejection, showcasing the accuracy of our levels. This rejection went onto hitting our Bearish target, followed with ema5 cross and lock opening 3393, which was also hit perfectly.
We will now look for ema5 lock below 3393 to open the swing range or failure to lock below will see the upper Goldturns tested again.
We will see levels tested side by side until one of the weighted levels break and lock to confirm direction for the next range.
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up.
We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 20 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends.
The swing range give bigger bounces then our weighted levels that's the difference between weighted levels and swing ranges.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Another PITASTIC day on the charts, with our analysis playing out perfectly.
Yesterday after completing the target at 3352, we stated that we’ll be watching for a confirmed cross and lock above 3352 for a continuation. We got the cross and lock above 3352 opening 3388.
- 3388 was hit perfectly today completing this target. We will now look for a ema5 cross and lock above 3388 for a continuation. If price fails to lock above, we could see rejections leading back into the lower Goldturns, where we’ll look for support and bounce.
GOLD (XAUUSD): Classic Buying OpportunityThis week, strong fundamentals are backing 📈GOLD, which has successfully broken through a significant daily/intraday resistance level.
Buyers are now likely targeting the psychological level of 3400.
For long positions, consider a confluence zone that base on a rising trend line with the recently breached resistance.
Gold's Next Move Up: Why I'm Waiting for This 1H Order Block.Hello, traders! 👋 Let's take a look at the current price action on Gold (XAU/USD).
📉 Current Situation: Correction Phase
After a strong impulse that swept the Buy Side Liquidity (BSL), Gold has entered a correction. This corrective move has a clear target below: a key 1-hour order block that aligns with the 61.8% daily Fibonacci level. This area acts as strong support and a potential reversal zone for the continuation of the uptrend.
⚠️ Patience is Key
Price has not yet reached a safe discount zone for considering long positions. This is where the "whale's" Point of Interest (POI) lies. It's highly probable that large players will deliver the price to this zone to "refuel" (mitigate their positions) before continuing the move up, or at least to test the manipulation that swept the initial BSL.
My Trading Plan
🎯 The Long Setup
The primary condition for considering a long setup from the $3356 - $3365 area is:
Mitigation of the 1-hour order block.
The 61.8% Fib level must hold with a clear reversal reaction on at least the 4-hour timeframe.
I don't expect this to happen today. It's likely that price will first build liquidity above our POI before dropping into it. Only from that zone, and with LTF confirmation, can we consider safer long positions.
This is not financial advice. My analysis is for educational purposes only.
THE KOG REPORTTHE KOG REPORT
In last week’s KOG Report we said we would want the lower level red box to be tested and rejected in order to give us the move upside into that 3330-35 region where we wanted to monitor the price for the short. We managed to get a pin point move, however, we had to exit the short trades early due to the support level holding us up. We then continued to follow Excalibur and the red box indi’s which were suggesting higher pricing and by the end of the week we had completed all our bullish above target levels, plus Excalibur trade targets and LiTE again performed at 100% accuracy.
A phenomenal week in Camelot, not only on Gold but the numerous other pairs we trade, analysis and post on.
So, what can we expect from the week ahead?
For this week we can expect some gaps on open which is going to make it difficult due to skewed data. We will however stick with the red box levels and the tools we have to make a plan for the two scenarios we may see potential of.
Scenario one:
Price opens and gaps upside, we’ll be looking for the levels of 3455-60 for a potential reaction in price, if achieved, an opportunity may be available to short there back down into the 3450, 3443 and 3435 levels.
Scenario two:
If we do open and gap downside, we’ll look for the levels of 3430-23 to hold us up, and if achieved, an opportunity to long there back up into the 3450-5 level and in extension of the move 3465 may be available.
It’s a difficult one again as no one knows how the market is going to open and what is going to happen. So we’ll update traders as much as we can during the day and the week with KOG’s bias of the day and red box target levels
KOG’s bias of the week:
Bearish below 3465 with targets below 3425, 3420, 3410 and 3406
Bullish on break of 3465 with targets above 3477, 3485, 3492, 3495 and 3503
Red Boxes:
Break above 3435 for 3443, 3448, 3465 and 3476 in extension of the move
Break below 3420 for 3410, 3406, 3397, 3385 and 3380 in extension of the move
Many of our followers and traders have seen the power of the red boxes, Imagine this on your own TV screen, 4H for swing trading, 1H for day trading and 15min for scalping. Add to that the Knights indicator giving you swing points, key levels and retracement levels and our custom volume indicator telling you when to long, when to short and when to stand back from your trades.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Great finish after completing each of our targets throughout the week with ema5 lock confirmations on our proprietary Goldturn levels. Yesterday we finished off with 3388 and stated we would look for ema5 cross and lock above 3388 to open 3428 and failure to lock will follow with a rejection.
- This played out perfectly with the cross and lock confirmation and then the target hit at 3428 completing the range.

Gold’s back on track, paying attention to momentum and hintsXAUUSD is still climbing steadily within its upward parallel channel, respecting structure beautifully as we’re now seeing early signs of bullish interest returning, right after we got a nice rejection from the support zone.
Currently I’m watching this bounce to have a target near 3,380 , somewhere around the middle line of the ascending channel. If this bullish push continues with strong volume and momentum, I’ll be locking in that bias and planning my entry accordingly.
Patience first, I always wait for price to prove itself before getting involved.
This could be a beautiful continuation…
Or just one more fakeout before a deeper drop.

Technical analysis of XAU/USD (Gold Spot vs U.S. Dollar) – 2H Timeframe:
---
XAU/USD Bearish Rejection from Resistance – Short-Term Sell Setup
Key Observations:
1. Rejection from Upper Channel & Resistance Zone:
Price was rejected sharply after touching the upper boundary of the ascending channel and the newly established resistance zone (~3400–3420).
A strong bearish candle confirms selling pressure at the top.
2. Support Retest in Progress:
The price is currently descending toward the EMA 200 and the KYY support zone (approximately 3343–3348).
The previous bounce originated from this level, making it a significant retest zone.
3. EMA 200 as Confluence:
The 200 EMA (currently at 3346.92) aligns with the support zone, increasing the likelihood of a bounce or at least temporary pause in bearish momentum.
4. RSI Bearish Signal:
RSI has dropped below 50, confirming a momentum shift toward the downside.
Still above oversold territory, suggesting more downside room.
---
Trade Idea:
Bias: Bearish (Short-Term)
Entry Zone: Around 3390–3400 (confirmed rejection area)
Target Zone: 3348 – 3343 (KYY support + EMA 200)
Stop Loss: Above 3425 (just above resistance zone)
Mr SMC Trading point
---
Summary:
Gold has faced a clear rejection at a key resistance zone within an ascending channel, and is now targeting the EMA 200 and previous structural support. Short opportunities could be considered toward the 3343–3348 zone, with RSI and price action supporting the move.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
A PIPTASTIC day on the markets with our chart idea playing out perfectly!!!
Yesterdays update, we stated how we hit our Bullish target, followed with no cross and lock confirming the rejection. We then stated, how we tracked the movement down with ema5 lock confirmation into the swing range and ended with waiting for the full swing to complete into 3393.
🔄 Update:
Today we got the move into 3393 just like we analysed. We continued to see play between 3372 and 3393, giving multiple opportunities to catch bounces from the dip. We will now look for ema5 to cross and lock 3372 or 3393 to confirm direction.
We will see levels tested side by side until one of the weighted levels break and lock to confirm direction for the next range
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up.
We will continue to buy dips using our support levels, taking 20 to 40 pips. As stated before, each of our level structures gives 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back-test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid-term swings and trends.
🌀 The swing ranges give bigger bounces than our weighted levels - that's the difference between the two.

Gold (XAUUSD) – Demand Zone Holding, Silver Leading BreakoutGold has respected its demand zone near $3,367–$3,382 and is attempting to bounce higher. Importantly, Silver (XAGUSD in pink overlay) is leading the upside move, having broken out cleanly above $37.00 and still climbing. This confirms the bullish momentum across precious metals.
Geopolitical tensions, dovish Fed commentary, and risk-off market conditions continue to favor a move toward $3,451, $3,471, and possibly $3,495.
🔍 Technical Breakdown (4H)
Support Zone: $3,367–$3,382 (retest of broken resistance)
Bullish Structure: Rising lows, trendline holds, and higher timeframe support remains intact
Projected Targets:
🎯 TP1: $3,451 (recent high)
🎯 TP2: $3,471 (key extension)
🎯 TP3: $3,495 (top of range)
Stop Loss: Below $3,351 (invalidates demand structure)
🪙 Silver (XAGUSD) Overlay Insight:
Currently at $37.11+, showing leadership in the breakout.
Suggests gold will likely follow through — watch for Gold catching up.
🧠 Macro & Fundamental Context (June 17)
Bullish Drivers:
🔥 Ongoing Middle East war escalation (Iran-Israel, US troop buildup)
🏦 Dovish Fed tone, soft retail sales, rate cuts expected from Sept

🧭 Strategy Suggestion:
Tactical Buy on Rejection Wick from current demand zone
Watch Silver momentum — if it breaks $37.50+, gold likely catches up fast
Consider scaling out around $3,451–$3,471 with final target near $3,495
Gold - The final resistance breakout!Gold - TVC:GOLD - prepares a final rally:
(click chart above to see the in depth analysis👆🏻)
Over the past 12 months, Gold rallied more than +70%. However the past three months clearly rejected a major horizontal resistance. But price action on the smaller timeframe remains incredibly bullish. Therefore an all time high breakout will most likely follow.

GOLD DAILY CHART ROUTE MAPHey Everyone,
Following up on our previous analysis, price action has continued to respect our Goldturn channel beautifully. After the strong move to 3272, we saw another push toward the channel top near 3433. This time, the ascending movement to the channel top was completed perfectly, hitting inline with our 3433 axis target.
The key takeaway here is that the channel levels are being respected with precision, validating the strength and reliability of our Goldturn channel framework. 3272 continues to provide solid support, and price remains well-contained within our defined range, reaffirming our strategy of buying dips near the lower end rather than chasing strength at the top.
We will now look for a break above the channel and then support to form above the channel top to confirm a continuation higher. However, failure to lock above the channel will likely result in a rejection back into the range, reinforcing the significance of these key levels.
We remain focused on trading within this structure, using our weighted Goldturns to guide entries on the lower timeframes (1H and 4H). As long as the range remains intact, we’ll continue to target quick 30–40 pip intraday moves while keeping an eye out for a breakout setup.
This is the beauty of our Goldturn channels, drawn using weighted averages rather than pure price action. This method helps us filter out noise and stay on the right side of the market, avoiding common traps.
Keep a close eye on how price behaves around 3272 and 3433. A clean break and sustained hold above the channel top could shift the game, but until that happens, we stick to the range plan.
Let’s stay patient and disciplined.
