GOLDCFD trade ideas
Middle East tensions rise; gold may hit new highs next weekThe Middle East situation has continued to escalate over the weekend, indicating that gold may witness a rally at Monday's opening. On Friday morning, risk aversion surged rapidly, pushing the gold price to around 3,444, followed by a pullback. During the European session, the price quickly retreated to around 3,408 before rebounding—our strategy to go long near 3,410 at the time proved profitable. In the U.S. session, gold mounted a second rally, peaking at around 3,446 before entering a pullback and consolidation phase. However, from a fundamental perspective, the overall trend remains bullish; thus, buying on dips remains the primary trading approach.
From a 4-hour technical view, immediate support lies in the 3,405–15 range, with key support at the recent resistance-turned-support zone near 3,375–80. When gold pulls back, traders should focus on longing near these levels. The critical bullish pivot for short-term traders has shifted up to the 3,345–50 zone; as long as gold holds above this level on the daily time frame, the dip-buying strategy should be maintained.

GOLD 4H CHART ROUTE MAP UPDATE & TRADING PLAN FOR THE WEEKHey Everyone,
This is an update from last weeks 4H chart route map, as levels are still valid and playing out as analysed. I have only updated the swing ranges accordingly.
3376 and 3438 was hit perfectly last week with ema5 cross and lock confirmation. We are now looking for ema5 cross and lock above 3438 for a continuation into 3498. Failure to lock above will follow with a rejection into the lower Goldturns for support and bounce inline with our plans to buy dips.
We will see levels tested side by side until one of the weighted levels break and lock to confirm direction for the next range.
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up.
We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 20 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends.
The swing range give bigger bounces then our weighted levels that's the difference between weighted levels and swing ranges.

Gold Rebounds After Filling Gap >> Bullish Continuation in SightHello guys!
Gold (XAU/USD) is showing signs of strength on the 4H chart after filling a key gap around the $3,290 level and bouncing off it with bullish intent.
🔹 What I see:
– Price previously broke out of a broad descending channel, flipping the structure bullish
– After forming a rising wedge, Gold corrected lower and filled the gap
– The zone around $3,290 acted as solid support, and the current bounce suggests bulls are regaining control
📈 Outlook:
If this bounce holds and momentum builds, the next area of interest is clearly marked:
🎯 First Target: $3,466 – an area of prior structure and possible supply
📍 Current Price: $3,329
🟢 Bias: Bullish (above $3,290)
🔴 Invalidated below: $3,244
This setup offers a favorable risk-to-reward opportunity if the structure continues holding. Keep an eye on price action near the recent local highs for confirmation.
GOLD WEEKLY CHART MID/LONG TERM ROUTE MAPHey Everyone,
Following up on last week’s chart update, we saw another perfect test of the channel top, right in line with our Goldturn Channel expectations. The new weekly candle completed the channel top challenge with precision.
Our weekly chart idea is now playing out perfectly. We continued to get strong support above 3281, followed by another hit onto the 3387 channel top. But this time, we got something new: a body close above 3387, which confirms the gap to 3482 as active. We’ll now look for that 3482 target to be hit, ascending inline with the channel top.
Any rejection around these upper levels will likely see price retrace to find support at lower Goldturn levels. These are opportunities we’ll be watching closely to buy back in.
Price action remains well-contained between 3281 and 3387, but with that recent close above 3387, we’re now shifting focus toward higher expansion. The structure is rising, and the channel is guiding price beautifully, offering more room for smart, calculated positioning.
As long as we hold above the half-line and especially above 3281, we stay in buy-the-dip mode, favouring long setups from intraday Goldturn zones for quick 20–40 pip scalps or more extended swing entries when structure permits.
Should we see a failure to maintain above 3387 or a close back below 3281, we’ll reassess potential movement toward the lower channel boundary. Until then, the structure remains bullish within the channel and price is following our path perfectly.
The Goldturn methodology continues to prove its worth, cutting through noise, filtering out the fake outs, and keeping us on the right side of the market.
Stay sharp, stay patient.

Gold Correction = Bearish Divergence + Wedge + Zigzag CompleteGold ( OANDA:XAUUSD ) attacked the Resistance zone($3,387-$3,357) today after the release of the US CPI indices . Although the figures seemed to be in gold's favor, traders still seem to be determined to continue the price correction.
In terms of Elliott Wave theory , it seems that Gold has managed to complete the Zigzag Correction. We should wait for the next 5 down waves .
Also, we can see the Regular Divergence(RD-) between Consecutive Peaks .
In terms of Classic Technical Analysis , Gold appears to have successfully formed a Rising Wedge Pattern .
I expect Gold to drop to at least $3,296 AFTER breaking the lower line of the Rising Wedge Pattern .
Note: Stop Loss(SL)= $3,380

Intraday Gold Trading System with Neural Networks: Step-by-Step________________________________________
🏆 Intraday Gold Trading System with Neural Networks: Step-by-Step Practical Guide
________________________________________
📌 Step 1: Overview and Goal
The goal is to build a neural network system to predict intraday short-term gold price movements—typically forecasting the next 15 to 30 minutes.
________________________________________
📈 Step 2: Choosing Indicators (TradingView Equivalents)
Key indicators for intraday gold trading:
• 📊 Moving Averages (EMA, SMA)
• 📏 Relative Strength Index (RSI)
• 🌀 Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD)
• 📉 Bollinger Bands
• 📦 Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)
• ⚡ Average True Range (ATR)
________________________________________
🗃 Step 3: Data Acquisition (Vectors and Matrices)
Use Python's yfinance to fetch intraday gold data:
import yfinance as yf
import pandas as pd
data = yf.download('GC=F', period='30d', interval='15m')
________________________________________
🔧 Step 4: Technical Indicator Calculation
Use Python’s pandas_ta library to generate all required indicators:
import pandas_ta as ta
data = ta.ema(data , length=20)
data = ta.ema(data , length=50)
data = ta.rsi(data , length=14)
macd = ta.macd(data )
data = macd
data = macd
bbands = ta.bbands(data , length=20)
data = bbands
data = bbands
data = bbands
data = ta.atr(data , data , data , length=14)
data.dropna(inplace=True)
________________________________________
🧹 Step 5: Data Preprocessing and Matrix Creation
Standardize your features and shape data for neural networks:
from sklearn.preprocessing import StandardScaler
import numpy as np
features =
scaler = StandardScaler()
data_scaled = scaler.fit_transform(data )
def create_matrix(data_scaled, window_size=10):
X, y = ,
for i in range(len(data_scaled) - window_size - 1):
X.append(data_scaled )
y.append(data .iloc )
return np.array(X), np.array(y)
X, y = create_matrix(data_scaled, window_size=10)
________________________________________
🤖 Step 6: Neural Network Construction with TensorFlow
Use LSTM neural networks for sequential, time-series prediction:
import tensorflow as tf
from tensorflow.keras.models import Sequential
from tensorflow.keras.layers import LSTM, Dense, Dropout
model = Sequential( , X.shape )),
Dropout(0.2),
LSTM(32, activation='relu'),
Dense(1)
])
model.compile(optimizer='adam', loss='mse')
________________________________________
🎯 Step 7: Training the Neural Network
history = model.fit(X, y, epochs=50, batch_size=32, validation_split=0.2)
________________________________________
📊 Step 8: Evaluating Model Performance
Visualize actual vs. predicted prices:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
predictions = model.predict(X)
plt.plot(y, label='Actual Price')
plt.plot(predictions, label='Predicted Price')
plt.xlabel('Time Steps')
plt.ylabel('Gold Price')
plt.legend()
plt.show()
________________________________________
🚦 Step 9: Developing a Trading Strategy
Translate predictions into trading signals:
def trade_logic(predicted, current, threshold=0.3):
diff = predicted - current
if diff > threshold:
return "Buy"
elif diff < -threshold:
return "Sell"
else:
return "Hold"
latest_data = X .reshape(1, X.shape , X.shape )
predicted_price = model.predict(latest_data)
current_price = data .iloc
decision = trade_logic(predicted_price, current_price)
print("Trading Decision:", decision)
________________________________________
⚙️ Step 10: Real-Time Deployment
Automate the model for live trading via broker APIs (pseudocode):
while market_open:
live_data = fetch_live_gold_data()
live_data_processed = preprocess(live_data)
prediction = model.predict(live_data_processed)
decision = trade_logic(prediction, live_data )
execute_order(decision)
________________________________________
📅 Step 11: Backtesting
Use frameworks like Backtrader or Zipline to validate your strategy:
import backtrader as bt
class NNStrategy(bt.Strategy):
def next(self):
if self.data.predicted > self.data.close + threshold:
self.buy()
elif self.data.predicted < self.data.close - threshold:
self.sell()
cerebro = bt.Cerebro()
cerebro.addstrategy(NNStrategy)
# Add data feeds and run cerebro
cerebro.run()
________________________________________
🔍 Practical Use-Cases
• ⚡ Momentum Trading: EMA crossovers, validated by neural network.
• 🔄 Mean Reversion: Trade at Bollinger Band extremes, validated with neural network predictions.
• 🌩️ Volatility-based: Use ATR plus neural net for optimal entry/exit timing.
________________________________________
🛠 Additional Recommendations
• Frameworks: TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn
• Real-time monitoring and risk management are crucial—use volatility indicators!
________________________________________
📚 Final Thoughts
This practical guide arms you to build, deploy, and manage a neural network-based intraday gold trading system—from data acquisition through backtesting—ensuring you have the tools for robust, data-driven, and risk-managed trading strategies.

THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG:
Price moved well today sticking to the bias level and completing the first two TP levels we had shared. The path illustrated yesterday also worked well giving the move into the support level, then the bounce upside into resistance before then resuming the move.
With FOMC tomorrow we can expect any sharp movement to happen in the late session and Asia, otherwise the pre-event price action has begun, we have a range in play with resistance above at the 3395 level and support below 3355-60 which has been highlighted. The bias will stand for now but we're going to take a back seat.
Price: 3382
KOG’s Bias of the day:
Bearish below 3401 with targets below 3365, 3358 and below that 3350
Bullish on break of 3401 with target above 3410 and above that 3425
RED BOXES:
Break above 3395 for 3406, 3410, 3416 and 3419 in extension of the move
Break below 3378 for 3368✅ and 3355 in extension of the move

Gold Trade Plan – Wait for the Trap, Then Catch the Move Price broke the ascending trendline and is now heading into a key demand zone around 3387–3390. My plan is to wait for the manipulation wick into the green zone, ideally touching the trendline confluence below, then catch the bounce for a clean long setup toward 3460+. If that fails, I’m ready to flip short after the liquidity grab.
Two scenarios on the table:
1- Rejection from the demand zone → bullish continuation.
2- Fakeout bounce → trap longs → reversal drop.
Stay patient, let price come to you.
XAU/USD Builds Bullish Momentum for Potential Upside MoveXAU/USD has formed a classic bullish flag pattern on the daily chart, indicating a continuation of the strong upward trend. After a sharp impulsive rally, the price consolidated in a downward-sloping flag, which has now been broken to the upside. This breakout signals renewed bullish momentum, supported by rising moving averages and price action holding above key support levels. The breakout candle shows strong volume and conviction, increasing the probability of further gains. As the market maintains its bullish structure, traders may look for continuation towards higher resistance levels in the coming sessions.
Entry Point: 3410
First Target: 3451
Second Target: 3530
GPLD (XAUUSD) Breakout or Trap? Triangle Breakout AheadGold (XAUUSD) is forming an Ascending Triangle pattern, approaching a crucial resistance zone. Price action indicates potential for either a breakout or a false breakout (trap). Key targets and rejection levels are clearly marked on the chart. Stay alert for a possible rejection near the upper trendline or a breakout confirmation above the resistance zone.

NO TRADE? THAT IS THE TRADEToday, I took no trades and I’ll be honest, it was really tempting to break that discipline.
I stared at the chart longer than I needed to. My cursor hovered around the Buy and Sell buttons. My brain tried to convince me that “maybe” this candle meant something. Even though there was no valid sweep, no BOS, and no clean entry into an FVG , the desire to just “be in a trade” was strong.
But I reminded myself:
📌 No Setup = No Trade
📌 Your edge is your lifeline
📌 Discipline is what pays you, not activity
What I felt today is something every trader battles, setup hoping . It’s that mental trap where silence feels wrong, and boredom feels dangerous. But the truth is, boredom is part of being a consistently profitable trader. There are days where your best trade is the one you don’t take.
And I’m proud to say I did nothing.
No revenge trade.
No gambling.
No deviation from plan.
Instead, I observed. I journaled my emotions. I stayed in control. That’s the work behind the scenes: the mental reps that build longevity in this business .
So if you had a quiet session today too, and you resisted the urge to jump in without reason, celebrate that. You're training your mind to trust your system, not your feelings.
Sometimes, the most powerful trade you’ll ever take… is the one you never place.
GOLD (XAUUSD): Your Trading Plan Explained⚠️GOLD is currently at a crucial daily horizontal support level.
It is consolidating within a horizontal range on the 4-hour chart, showing a positive bullish reaction and testing the range's resistance.
A breakout above this resistance with a 4-hour candle close would signal strong bullish momentum, potentially leading to further gains, with the next target at 3437.
Conversely, a bearish breakout below the support could initiate a downward movement.

THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG:
Although many were anticipating a strong move upside on the open, we stuck to our guns and the algo which gave us the bias level as bearish below. Although we wanted a little bit higher, this worked well today with nearly all our bearish below target being completed again in one day apart from the remaining 3380.
For this reason, we'll stick with the plan for now with resistance now being the 3406 level which if held can force us down further into the level given before a potential RIP. With FOMC around the corner, we can expect some choppy and ranging price action tomorrow so tread carefully on the markets if you're less experienced.

Gold will grow a little more and then make correctionHello traders, I want share with you my opinion about Gold. After forming a downward wedge and several rejections near the support line, the price eventually broke out to the upside, signaling a reversal. This breakout was followed by a strong upward impulse, and Gold quickly shifted into a consolidation phase, creating a wide sideways range structure. Inside this range, we observed multiple rebounds from the lower boundary and a gradual rise toward the resistance level. Recently, the price exited the range upward after testing the buyer zone and breaking above the support area. However, this breakout seems impulsive and may need a correction. Currently, Gold trades slightly above the 3400 level, which aligns with the support area and the previous range border. In my view, the price may make a short upward move, followed by a return to the current support level. That’s why I set my TP at 3400 points, which corresponds to the support area and acts as a potential bounce zone in case of a retracement. Please share this idea with your friends and click Boost 🚀

GoldFxMinds Sniper Plan — June 17, 2025 🚀 GoldMinds Battle Plan Loaded — June 17, 2025
Good morning GoldMinds 👋
The market is again building perfect traps after CPI & PPI whipped both sides last week. Liquidity is stacking and volatility is hiding behind a quiet news calendar — exactly when the market loves to attack both sides. We stay patient, sniper-style.
🌎 Macro & Sentiment:
No major data today, but liquidity still reacts after last week’s CPI & FOMC tone.
DXY remains stable — gold remains capped inside premium supply zones.
The real game now is liquidity manipulation — we focus on clean execution.
🔬 Structure & Bias:
✅ D1: Liquidity sweep above 3450 — sellers protecting premium.
✅ H4: Lower high distribution forming.
✅ H1: Bearish order flow starting to control.
✅ EMAs 5/21/50: compressed bearish.
✅ RSI: showing divergence on intraday.
Bias: Tactical Bearish — under 3460 we remain sellers on sweeps. Liquidity hunts both ways but premium remains the trap zone.
🎯 Sniper Zones
🔻 SELL ZONES:
3405 – 3410 → early pullback rejection zone
3435 – 3445 → main OB liquidity sweep
3452 – 3460 → extreme premium trap zone
🔻 BUY ZONES:
3365 – 3380 → golden zone buy (perfect fibo confluence)
3335 – 3345 → deep flush exhaustion buy
🔄 Tactical Scenarios
Sell spikes into premium → M15 rejection → target 3380 first.
If flushed into golden zone → watch M15 confirmation → target 3405.
If deep flush into 3335 → exhaustion buy setups only.
💡 Tactical Notes
No chasing — liquidity first, reaction second.
News absence = perfect condition for engineered liquidity sweeps.
Stay sniper. Only act when structure confirms.

DeGRAM | GOLD aim to test the lower boundary📊 Technical Analysis
● Hourly price is defending the channel’s lower half: three consecutive wicks bounced at 3 360, forming a descending flag whose base coincides with the dynamic support.
● OBV is edging higher while the flag narrows; a close above 3 408 would unlock the flag-measured move toward the upper rail / horizontal target at 3 444–3 450.
💡 Fundamental Analysis
● World Gold Council reports India’s jewellery demand rebounded 8 % w/w as monsoon concerns eased, while CME data show fresh 6 K-lot COMEX short-covering after the latest FOMC testimony tempered rate-hike talk.
✨ Summary
Long 3 360–3 380; flag break > 3 408 eyes 3 444 → 3 450. Bull view void on an H1 close below 3 343.

Hellena | GOLD (4H): LONG to resistance area of 3428.Colleagues, in the last forecast I wrote that I expect to reach the target in the area of 3439.37 and I am not giving up on it. At the moment, the price has made a strong correction and so I will make a new forecast, in which the targets will remain almost unchanged, but I see that the wave pattern has changed a bit.
Now wave “1” lower wave is located higher and at the moment I believe that the price is in wave “5”.
A correction to the support area of 3265 is possible, but in general I expect to reach the resistance area of 3428.

Safe-Haven Demand Boosts Gold as Middle East Tensions EscalateHey Traders,
In today’s trading session, we are monitoring XAUUSD for a buying opportunity around the 3,380 zone. Gold is currently trading in an uptrend and is experiencing a correction phase as it pulls back toward this key support and resistance area.
On the fundamental side, reports indicate that Israel struck Iran overnight — fueling a classic geopolitical risk-off sentiment. This escalation is driving strength in safe-haven assets while putting pressure on riskier markets. Gold typically benefits from this kind of uncertainty, adding further weight to the technical setup we’re seeing today.
Trade safe,
Joe
Fakeout or Takeoff? Gold Retakes 3350 Before NY Close1. Recap of Yesterday's Move
Yesterday was a volatile day for Gold. Price initially broke above the key 3340–3350 resistance zone, only to drop back below it—but intriguingly, it closed above it on the New York session. That close is the detail that changes everything.
2. Key Question: Will Gold Stay Above 3400 and Push Toward New ATHs?
Let’s split this into two scenarios:
________________________________________
🟢 Bullish Scenario – Buy the Dip?
• The short-term structure is undeniably bullish.
• The reclaim of 3340–3350 is not a fakeout, but a clean signal of strength.
• If momentum holds, we can expect price to push toward 3405 and then 3435.
• As such, the strategy remains: buy dips, targeting those key levels.
________________________________________
🟡 Long-Term Breakout? Not So Fast
• Yes, the higher lows at 3120, 3250, and 3295 suggest that the correction from 3500 may be over.
• A clean breakout and stabilization above 3400, ideally near 3430, could signal a path toward a new all-time high.
• ❗ However, volatility remains wild, and if geopolitical tensions de-escalate or trade tariffs get resolved, Gold could see a sharp drop of 1500–2000 pips, as part of a broader risk-off unwind. Peace and stability could hurt safe-haven demand.
________________________________________
📌 Trading Plan
• Short-term: Buy dips while above 3340-3350 (ideally on a re-test), aiming for 3405 and 3435.
• Long-term: Stay flexible. Wait for confirmation above 3430 before going for the ATH narrative.
________________________________________
💡 Conclusion
Technically, Gold is bullish in both the short and long term. But with global uncertainty in play, don't ignore the fundamentals. Trade the chart, but respect the world around it. 🚀
