The fund is passively managed, investing in the digital currency bitcoin. The funds value is designed to measure the performance of a single bitcoin traded in USD. Using an algorithm based off data from Bloomberg, a generic price is used intraday to determine share value. The fixing rate for the end-of-day index level is calculated based on the mid-price from multiple sources over a 15-minute window, between 16:00 and 16:15 ET and rounded to two decimal places. The index is designed to be representative of the market but given the volatility, it may not be in all instances. Fund exposure is held in a cold storage wallet. Investment in the ETF is considered speculative, and investors should have the capacity to absorb the loss of their full investment. On April 26, 2021 the Issuer merged a mutual fund, sharing the same exposure, into this fund.
