The fund actively manages duration, yield structure, foreign exchange, credit spread, and security selection of its portfolio to meet its objectives of interest income and long-term capital growth based on the current interest rate environment. The fund invests primarily in fixed income securities from the Dynamic Active Tactical Bond Fund, which is composed of government bonds and investment-grade corporate bonds, while seeking to maintain an average credit rating of A- or above. DXB can still also invest across the full spectrum of debt securities, cash and cash equivalents, floating rate notes, and derivatives, as well as other funds. With a focus in the US and Canada, the fund can invest up to 49% in foreign securities outside of North America.
