The fund seeks to provide exposure to a portfolio of global stocks from that limits exposure to the fossil fuel industry and climate change risk, and to invest in companies considered to be climate leaders. These are defined to be: (i) companies that have a carbon impact that places it in the top one-third of a companys industry, or (ii) companies involved in commercializing technologies that have net positive climate benefits through substantial greenhouse gas emissions reductions. ESG screens are also employed such that companies deemed to be inconsistent with responsible investment considerations are removed. The index is market-cap-weighted, with individual securities capped at 4%. Industry weights are also capped at 3%. The fund is ordinarily rebalanced annually.
