The Yield curve is writing a familiar script. Prior to the Great Crash of 1929 the yield curve was inverted for 700 days. Janet Yellen held the yield curve inverted for the longest period in history, 789 days from Jul 5, 2022 to Sep 6, 2024. Is it "different this time?" Not long to find out. 🙃
